Pacified Plunger

Pacified Plunger (Image 3)

                              Suck it up Hype
                                 Pacify your need
                                     The Needle
                                 Pacify your greed
                              Point taken

                              Give me my Binky
                                  The nipple of thirst
                                     Diluted Water
                                  Dehydrated Curse
                              Entered Skin

                               Slowly back out
                                   Deep breathe allowed
                                      Motionless Mannequin
                                   Addictions crowd
                               Death Feeds

                               Suck it up again
                                   Pacify your need
                                      Never-ending Needle
                                   Pinpricked Bleed
                               Stop! Please Stop!

Congratulations Brian on your placement in the contest. Addiction is such a blight on society. It does not discriminate. Peace my friend:)

This poem was so conflicting with itself ... much like the drugs are. Quite the disturbing phrases like "Motionless Mannequin", until the dark climax ... "Stop! Please Stop!" ... I've never became acquainted them myself, but have been around people that have ... it's not a pretty thing to witness! Awesome job on this one.

Thank you Timothy and thank God you have never been acquainted with them, unfortunately growing up in a Southern California Beach Community they run rampant and it is a sad state of affairs. They now nicknamed my highschool Heroin High, crazy it is
