Pacific
In the western coast of the Pacific
Lies the mysteries we'll solve but never
Creatures adaptable and prolific
Roaming the darkness that goes forever
Challenge all we know now as what could be
Possibilities to logic sever
Another universe just under me
In a trench down in the deepest ocean
In a blackness we may but never see
Instinct lit by luminescent notion
Survival of these oddities in place
Amidst the quiet of commotion
Questions and curiosity give chase
For a finish line that leaves no trace
