Pa Mathew Ogundeji, Bye

There was a gold out there to unfold
What shall it takes for it doesn't shakes
His darling intention in no pretention
"It will be mine one day" isn't fine ooo
Yet never relent or feel bad and repent
And the dream gave up the fight so tight
There were scope measured up that cope
Filming lovely life swimming without strife

Just at the early calm, growing embalm pumping
The treats of kings' honourable seats
Young in words never wish soon of birds
Flying up high in the eagles so sighing
Sickness played his field but he couldn't yield
To the favour of doctors' saver
There were love in history, beyond binding mystery
That tears a soft cheering start apart

He was him, now it is in the film
Happiness is rare, you can't despair
Heading down to his home town
Leaving us to guess the possible address
In dreams so strange off earthly exchange
Tied to portrait upon the wall-- an associate
Face somehow feeding fear with wow
Drift into his presence to recall his absence

Eight month had passed that his father last
Took a breath upon this troubled earth
Wife held him tight holding to the fright
Of loosing him to death in her own whim
She began to feel his worth with such zeal
Of no condition, loving out of cognition
All his is of no value, life is overvalue
Nothing else bounds where love surrounds

Life threatened living by chance wandering at stance
Leaving a true love in space calling onto grace
With her skin so rough traveling the tough
Close to the doctor, monitoring like a proctor
Short of words, sounds of the birds
Echoes the silent nights supervised by death's agent
May be grace wasn't of good pace
We wouldn't have loose his neck's noose

We were eager then, chance were meager too
Jokingly prayed not but angel do knot
As supposed to the point fears anoint
Hopeful hearts hanging heavenly home
Reasoning reality's readiness revealing Rome
Far beyond the reach of earthly niche
And just the rust of medicinal validity

There were tears in joy, yet frown faces employ
With reunion of far and near family Communion
They cheer in smiles tracing back long miles
Dance around as memories abound
Knowing the worth of moment buried in allotment
Such is the shout of laughter all about
The thick cheeks of frictional noise kick

Thanks the young is not in place of the old
We celebrate life gloriously so bold
An exit with reckon of the old man's grins
How his life ended and begins
Made everyone face sober in thought
Thinking of how in life we had fought
One day, for sure, may be, we shall think
Of how people will love you without wink

Up till tomorrow, we shall forever tell
His love's tale as old as age where it dwell
