Overcast

when another day begins
with cold, grey, overcast skies
foreboding shivers the mind...
uncertainty looms

clouds may mirror my musings
but, nevertheless, I scan
the sky searching for golden
streaks and blue demesnes

Hi, Kim. We don’t really look forward to the snow here in Newfoundland! Our winters include a damp kind of cold that can really get inside you if you don’t bundle up. Hope you have a comfortable winter. Take care. J

Thanks, Deb. We get a lot of clouds up here with the harsh climate…and now winter is upon us! Hope you are enjoying summer Down Under. Take care. Jim
