Over White Waters

Over white waters, a vessel
She goes dipping and bobbing,
'Cross the deep blue trestle
Her captain nearly sobbing

Hands at the helm
Still, she does not steer,
Just navigates this realm
Nowhere else to veer

Can she make land
Survive on a whim,
Over white waters' expand
Be it sink or swim?

Dear Kelly, you imagery is dramatic and thought-provoking. Life left up to chance... One should strive to feel a modicum of control despite the forces of fate conspiring all around. "sink or swim?" - a choice to be made. Warmest wishes.. ~Susan
