Over the Years

I took a picture of us;
 Just in case I forgot.
Our smiles are everlasting;
 I'm sure that means a lot.

I found an old picture of us;
 Boy, how could i forget.
Our smiles nearly faded;
 My heart full of regret.

They found that old picture of us;
 Long after we've been covered.
Our smiles long gone by now;
 Just two unknown lovers.
