Over God's Love
What a day to recall!
with all the problems at hand;
I can't take them all,
as I'm down and tired.
Carrying the baggage of the past,
with certain memories rekindled.
Anger ignites deep within,
as it tethers on the edge of life.
Along with a grateful heart,
convinces me to favor God's love.
Because of faith in Him;
I remain calm and forgiving.
A compassionate response,
an inward repentance;
with emotionally wrenching life,
brings me to healing hillside.
Such an important experience
that opens the ears and heart;
in my own little way,
God's love reigns over all.
