The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

over AI barrel

I asked chat to explain the torah ~ it typed out bible and koran

I pushed further for more clarity ~ then it drew me a big oil can

Thanks Jan, yes many ways of looking at the top line for sure, perhaps with the common denominator on the bottom line lol! Cheers David

I read a meme a while back that said earth is just a resort for about 50 people & the rest of us are unwittingly just the staff. The shocking thing for me these days is people aren't particularly manipulated into voting for those with bad intent but motivated to do so just for that little frisson they get when they can join in stepping on someone else to be mildly elevated up from the bottom rung. The manifesto can be they'll screw everyone over & they'll still vote :( definite ulterior motives

Always ulterior motives going on in the world LG, you’d think by now we’d know better, and like you said perhaps we do, but that doesn’t stop the narrative, the bottom rung is not a good place to be, the promise of wealth and prosperity is always paramount on the voters manifesto, even the promise of eternal salvation did and still does motivate bottom rungers to war, that big oil can certainly does the heavy lifting, hey this one is certainly proving provocative, I do know for a fact, the world's richest 1% own more wealth than 95% of humanity combined, kind of speaks for itself, cheers David

Hello David, Funny, A brilliant bit of digital-age irony. Sometimes the more we push for clarity from the machine, the more 'grease' we get. Now let me oil my hair. Great, succinct storytelling, David.

Haha! Oil away Daniel, although mousse might be a bit cheaper and less volatile these days :) I set out to try write a poem, but then I was engulfed by this Monoku, that somehow ironically resolves itself, thanks for seeing through the essence of my endeavours, cheers David

I enjoyed reading your creative "over AI barrel" Monoku write. Maybe we need to stick with the old "Webster" book. He never let us down. Hahaha!!!  Have a fun day writing away..........

Heya Paula, perhaps you’re right, I too loved researching through the thesaurus and encyclopaedia, nowadays chat gives a loose version of events to suit the narrative, not to be taken at face value, but I think my oil can can lol! Cheers David

AI has more smarts than we give it credit for. Is that a good thing? How the heck would we know, since humans are terribly flawed?

We are terribly flawed Lin, and yes AI was designed by us, perhaps a bit like the books I allude to in my Monoku, unfortunately I can’t give Chat any credit for this one, I figured it out myself, then threw some gasoline into the mix, I think the further clarity speaks for itself, especially in this current climate, cheers David

Interesting. This is a very good poem in my opinion. I like how you deliver the last blow in such a clean manner.

Heya Neve, a contemporaneous bit of everything going on here, I think this one is very pertinent, of course written from my agnostic pov, thanks for the kind comment, cheers David
