The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Over a Cup of Coffee

Sharing takes place
in many instances;
albeit, cultures vary in shape,
still communication operates.

I seem to incline myself,
to people with openness;
to share about life experiences
bring closeness and alertness.

I guess the world stands still,
amid some problems along the way.
It's a tough job; a moment to discern
between God's and our own way.

A great deal of endeavor
to maintain one's proportion
along with other distractions,
that speaks volumes about considerations.

Just over a cup of coffee,
I can say there are other options
but certain things happen
that prevail as a summation: intimacy.

With coffee's aromatic taste
heat and thick fluidity;
Comparatively, I savor God's wonder
in many productive ways.

I think with a grateful heart
as I ponder on God's love
I can't help but savor His life
suffused with love and sacrifice.

Over a cup of coffee,
I can feel being drawn
to God's profound invitation:
to come and taste His wonder.
