Ink stained papers scattered at his feet
As upon his muse he will draw
His words are for a girl he thinks so sweet
As his dog offers a helping paw
His labor of love requires words sublime
With true feelings coming from his heart
A poem, with beautiful rhymes
He soon finds the words to impart:
"You are my moon my stars,
My sunshine in the falling rain
Whether you are near or far
You I adore my dearest Lorraine"
His emotions had risen to the brim
Love had brought out the poet in him
