This is all so sudden, winds of change advanced scudding clouds, soon their pre-eminence ruled my horizon. And, I thought, but I love you, surely you can see that; a moment ago, I held you. You were there, close by, my arms wrapped your very substance, now left hugging the cool distant ghost. Haunting my misfire, my perplexed endeavour, chambers of my heart dry channelled ardour, vacated passion's seat. I miss you at once, and later, and always, indeed, and forever; no restoration now it's over. With skill, my tears concealed, my pain interred adept in covert crucibles, sparing the beauty of your eyes my offending hurt…
