Outside Was Raining Then Draining

Outside Was Raining Then Draining

While we had watched it outside raining;
Wondered where it would end up draining;
Stable level obtain, 
And then maintain;
To make more changes needs explaining.

Guess it could even apply to a swamp,
And to lower level may have to stomp;
On  both knees,
Had to squeeze;
May add more circumstance and pomp.
