Outside and Scared
Been watching from the sidelines
I seem so very scared
Things just happen way too fast
I’m never quite prepared
So, I have taken time to find
True meaning in my heart
Sorry, friends, for that time
I had to just depart
I will visit time to time
To share a thought or two
Please don’t be shocked if I must go
It’s me, it’s never you.
