Outside

A redheaded pileated woodpecker hopped up a tree Barn swallows fly around me Doves were cooing down in the dale Other birds joined in, I even heard some quail..
While walking the dog in the late afternoon..

Love this congregation of birds. How I wish I could see so many birds together in our surroundings!

Valsa, Sometimes there are several species at a time that I can see, but mostly I can hear them. Some I don't know their calls so I have no idea what bird it is. Thanks for the visit. Sara

The pileated woodpecker is one of my favorites, Mrs Sara. I hear them hollering almost everyday, here where I live. Birds are cool:) I like this one.

Why, thank you, Daniel. I don't hear or see them as much as when we first moved here nearly 60 years ago. I guess the habitat changed over the years. Thanks for dropping by. Sara
