Outrum
we took so many laps around the sun
arriving afflicted here in today
it's still cold at dawn
and from so many faces we've had
we barely recognize what we are
I heard outside the noise of life
and peeked over the rocks
in the world beyond my wall
for a moment i thought i saw something
and waved for hours like an idiot
but you didn't even exist anymore I should have known
or else
of course
it was already another you
