Outrageous

I have a fire burning in my chest
An ovation to courage
A convocation to my elation
It is simply outrageous

If I were to ask where to go from here
What might you tell me this time
With your shining age and splendid wisdom
You surely have the answer

Take a few steps in my mud splattered boots
And you'll see you know nothing
But you will see the fire in my heart
And the fury you kick start

Some would say life is simply outrageous
But I know it takes courage
To take a stand in this congregation
Simply a matter of time
