Outer Strength

You always find the words, the comfort, the love

I come wounded, sad, unsure to your door
And from you comes gentle warmth, safe haven

I talk of my fears, loss as I step within
And from you come words that sooth my soul

I share frustration, anger
And from you comes love, calmness, wisdom

I display my joy, happiness, delight
And from you comes radiance, light, shared wonder

I can come to you for all these things
You are my outer strength
