Out To Pasture

Out to pasture now
Idle
Near the fence
Faint sun warmed memories
Collide

Cool mornings
Along the river
Rush hour
Dodging traffic
Long rolling hills
The shiver of steep descent

Sheer joy
Laughter
Rain soaked
Under a bridge

Has he forgotten
Or does he also
Sit idle
Warmed by the faint hint
Of such memories

I'd say he has memories. I loved the rustic charm of this poem.
