Out Stretched Wings of Thought
I sought to take flight in my mind
One day so away from my perch
I did soar gliding on out stretched
Wings of thought over the landscape
Of my mind
I traveled to many fantastic places
That physically I will never see
kept loft by the winds of consciousness
Swirling under my outstretched wings
High above looking down on all
My minds eye surveys
I see Golden castles, emerald meadows
And magenta floral gardens
Looking down again I see strange
People walking Crystal Streets
Dressed in glistening white robes
A land so serene
But sadly I had to leave that place
Where thoughts and dreams are free
to roam and take my place in the
Real world or was that world
really my home
