Out of Time

OUT OF TIME

A Poem by Debbie_Philly 

" It about death and the chase "
 
           OUT OF TIME
 
             At this time
             In this place
        Running this race
 
             Out of time
           Can not hide
       Haunting thoughts
 
         Plague my mind 
          I see the signs
           Age unkind
 
          No one’s safe
         Bitter distaste
       Fast daunting pace
 
          On my heels
     Overcome by chills
  Fear soaked bleeding quill
 
         Borrowed time
          Life sublime
       Mortality’s crime
 
         Death so real       
    Skin starting to peel
       See Me Kneel
 
  On Hallowed ground
     Without a sound
       Gravity bound
 
    My time has come
      So see me run
     In the direction
        Of the sun
