Out of Time

Oh you tell of a forlorn maiden
so much out of step out of time
one so close to this my heart
alas simple of mind
yet she is my kind
she’s my mother
age exposed
withered
lost

Harry; It is wonderful to always remember your mother. There is a saying that goes like this - When I lost my father - I lost my pride. When I lost my mother I lost my treasure. May keep he and bless you always.... Lucilla

Blessed are those, who have the love and affection of their parents, which keep growing and becoming more and more profound with the passing of time my friend. Unfortunate are those who do not care for their dear ones. Excellent write Harry showing the feelings & love you have for your mother. Your Poem leaves a touching note in the end. Thank you for reminding me my own mother, whom I lost many many years back and thanks for your comments on my first Poem. Love & best wishes always...Ravindra

This poem was very heartfelt and touching, yet it has a hint of sadness to it. No matter what, I am sure that your Mother is very proud of you. Terrific work, Harry!...Thank you very much for the kind comments. I really appreciate it!
