Out of the Fog

We think we are what we do? How grossly untrue! We strive to be the top dog? I call that, egotistical, “brain fog.” Be a brother or sister to another. They do not need a boss nor a mother. Keep your credentials to yourself. Arrogance belongs on a shelf. Be a true friend, share, fully what you can. A servant of God, in the family of man! Seek out the meek and the humble. The popularity game~ a huge ego rumble. 8/7/2021 ~1~

As I have often told myself, instead of deciding one's worth according to what the world considers of value (especially Hollywood and politicians) -- better to count all we have avoided becoming. God and you are a majority.

If we treat our fellow poets with the polite and civil manner that we ourselves desire to be dealt with this site would fair much better. This dark world has far to much envy and strife for us to bring it here and parade it as some few have done, imho. Be polite, be kind and understand each poet is sharing his/her heart... Great poem my dear friend. A fav- God bless..

In God's eyes we're all equal, doesn't matter if you're rich or poor. Tom

Yes, so true. Even in poetry, he loves us equally. We need to do more.for our fellow man. And knock off acting like peacocks preening!)) That.....an empty space. Panagiota
