The Whiskey Taster’s Flavor Guide

Out of the Brown Earth the Rain

Out of the brown earth the rain
Brings green
Sprinkling morning like evening stars
Making us
Glad to be alive again.

November is a jaded month
Before its fruits
Can slip
Their arms around our tongue
Gold turns brown again
The color of dust
Surrounding our eyes

But I
Like an eagle
Keep my head in the clouds
But not like them
Circling above the ravished brown
I yearn for things
Far from the edge of sky

There is the center
Of love wound up like a ball of thread
There the dripping tree of light
Shall soon ten thousand angels shed
And I believe
Earth shall never brown again

I love this one, L'nass. It is lyrical and sweetly deep.
