Out of Sight, Out of Mind

I hear a vocal command, "Get out from under that bed!" They'd put a lock on the closet; I had few places left to go. Remembering childhood fears and the maple tree where I’m out of their mind behind the garage.

Curious write! Those adult figures, I’m guessing, lock the closet, make you come from under the bed… hiding place behind the garage… something about remembering the maple tree.. One little girl I knew was so afraid to go down dark hallways after school. Someone would always go with her. Fears can be so palapable!

This one is so mysterious. Sounds kind of like the premise for a chilling movie!
