Out of My Head

Dont you ever wonder

Just what life can be

If only you knew the answer

How easy it might seem

You see, we are all prisoners

stuck hopelessly inside our own skin

we never know if what we know

is worth the keeping in

how can we be who we are

if who we are is not

we are all what weve created

in hopes of being not

just another person

in an even more hopeless world

our thoughts become our passions

and passions are easily lost

to who we know and what they know

we affect our every thought

a war of who who is better

a war of endless hope

a war to try to figure out

if we are what we have hoped

so tell me this with honesty

and tell me this to see

if you are you and i am me

and we become what we cant be

then how are we to live?

This is so sad, and helpless it feel, like Diane said, God sent Jesus t set us free and we are free. Life isn't easy, but we aren't trapped forever. Wonderful write, and welcome to the soup! ~Michaela~
