Out of My Comfort Zone
I love the beach
on a warm summer day in July
surrounded by a brigade of coconut palms everywhere
the feel of the sunlight boiling on the surface of my skin
at low tide limestone rocks scattered on the sand banks
tidal pools exposed with sea crabs
racing through diluted waters
I love the ocean at it's lowest point
where I can walk out far beyond the shore
like Jesus walking the surface without
ever sinking below
I love glancing at the clear turquoise seas
a sight very magnificent indeed
performing the rhythms of waves
against the sand banks and lime stones
and every poetess goldmine for written inspiration
