Out My Window
In the view out my window
Nature moves languid across time
Creates a twitch of beautiful info
I corral my pen as I contemplate a chime
The clouds wave mysteriously fused all about
As mountains wear a fresh water weaved cape
A silhouette of trees in prayer of the devout
Humble to spirit, I itch a poem into shape
In the beautiful view out my window
A crater-let lake swirls, smiles with some blues
Then cloud shadows mix with a sweet indigo
And I twitch with a smile while greeting my muse
Villages nestle against mottled green slopes
Now motor boats speed us quickly to port
Tourists relax in the arms of their hopes
While I itch to write daily these scenes of all sorts
In the view out my window
I fly past like a flamingo
