Out Cast

You know what hurts is,
When you have nothing to give,
Your child's look,
Upon their face,

Gazing at you,
Like your a discrace,
The concept of money,
Seems more important,

How do you show them,
The love and that you care,
My heart is torn apart,
And getting harder to mend,

I can't fix any of it,
So how do I fit in,
He's into money,
So what my parents have taught,

How will he know love,
When I never get a chance,
He will always be my son,
Know matter how it may be,

I'll never have enough,
Of any kind of money,
One of these days,
He will learn,

Guess in the mean time,
I feel like being down,
But I have my daughter and son,
They will keep me on the ground,

I want him back,
But it won't ever happen,
Fights with parents,
But they wont give legs to stand on,

I really do try,
But it's never good enough,
Reasons for my spot in the family,
Is just being the out cast,

Someday he will know my love,
And not the money,
But until that time,
I'm done trying.....
