Out Breaks the Sun

The thunder rumbles, the lightening strikes
When will this storm be done
Oh clouds please break, don’t hesitate
So out can break the sun

The rain and wind is blowing hard
For protection I do pray
This storm is lasting longer and longer
I want to see the light of day

The storm is finally subsiding now
A rainbow I do see
A silver lining in the clouds
The sun is greeting me

So when the thunder rolls and the lightening strikes
And you’re wandering when the storm will be done
Pray the clouds to break and don’t hesitate
So out can break the sun
