Ours For Eternity
I love you so much that my heart is no more.
I love you more than the pale silver moon.
My love for you fills me with longing,
And taken from you, I think, I know I'd die soon.
But now sitting here with you,
My heart could fly, set alight.
The lonely night's silence is gone
Is forgotten, banished, no longer in sight.
Wistful longing burns my heart,
It sends shivers down my spine,
And I feel an ivy creeper
Around my heart entwine.
I close my eyes ever so tightly,
Clenching closed my fist,
As I long for another blissful moment
To hold me close in its timeless mist.
No time, no experience can fade it,
It's too far in my heart, a hidden treasure.
Don't tell me to stop the longing; I can't
It's my last shadow of life, my pain, my pleasure.
Let it run through my lifeblood,
Ensnare my heart, faintly beating
I go stiff with painful lust
As I think of the moment of our lips meeting.
Time has no hold of that moment,
The moment that belongs to you, to me,
No one else can take it,
It's simply ours for eternity.
