Our Spot...
As I sit on the sandbar and watch the beauty around me in admiration I know that peace
and serenity are in Jehovah's creation. I sit here on this sandbar by the creek and
it brings back memories of which I do not speak.
I think of me and him in the water, over in that spot. The water was cool and the summer
was hot.
Holding each other, playing close, but never kissing. Its that memory I'm reminiscing. I
haven't come here in many years dreading certain fears but instead my heart feels whole
and complete,
without fear or defeat.
I have survived and my strength has grown. Today that has truly shown.
I look at our spot as one of beauty that has taught me something and showed me the value
of a trusting heart and life does increase. Let this place not be one of sadness for a
loss but one of enhancement and peace.
