Our Special Spot
We set off.for our special spot,.Walking hand in hand, mother and daughter alone,
As we are walking, we are surrounded by large strong trees, and a clear spring running brook,
We arrive to our spot near the river, we take off our shoes, and sink our feet into the cool white sand,
We walk together to the river hand in hand, we are overcome with a sense of calmness ,bliss.
We're alone together, just mother nature and us, so calm, so peaceful, to get away.from the fuss,
We're in.awe of the surroundings, who wouldn't be? Our eyes are amazed by at the beautiful sight, of wild eagles in flight, the sounds of the waves hitting the shore, just makes me want to stay here forever.
The silence is broken by the birds flying free, my eyes are fixed by a bald eagle swooping down to get his daily catch of fish, it's not every day you get to.watch this, I feel blessed to.be here to witness mother nature's beauty with my daughter and our special spot.
I can feel the soft evening breeze as it blows thorough my hair, I close my eyes gently as savior this moment secretly in my heart, I look down to glimpse the bright moonlight glare on the waters edge, Oh how I wish we could make time stand still, to gather it up and keep it forever in my heart.
I will always have the memories of our special spot :-) :-)
