Our Spark
Within her hand, she holds a spark,
its glow reflected on her face.
As she sits upon ancient stone,
the last sunset, behind, does grace.
Once the spark, a blue flame blaze,
a beacon within the Heavens.
A star that burned all too quickly.
Now night, forever threatens.
Her kind, yet gently sad, smile.
Holds truths known but to her.
One of which is, life lives on.
Even after the last ember stirs.
You see, a Fairies realm sets within,
the space, between the spaces.
Neither here, nor there at will.
Existing, yet leaving no traces.
We humans see the Universe,
as vast and ours alone.
We forget, that others dwell,
where we fear to roam.
We see size, as we see time.
Set, within finite equations.
Yet, the Fairies learned long ago,
that size and time, have phases.
This lovely Fairy, holds the Earth,
as we hold a grain of sand.
Each once part of something more,
it's our spark, in the palm of her hand.
