Our Silver Years
Our Silver Years
When, we two embrace our silver years,
Silver skies of autumn arrive mystifying form.
The forests’ green has a silvery hue.
Silence overshadows chirping birds and croaking frogs.
Even the roosters snuggle in oversleeping.
The dogs are romping; cats find warmth.
Children and grandchildren have gone their way,
When, we two embrace our silver years.
