Our Plight
We're strong and many, beautiful and bright
We bring no harm by loving sunlight,
The others are nurtured, but we're labeled and slaughtered,
They're given all they need, but we're known as a bother
No one is proud of us, we're poisoned, torn apart
As if we are nothing and haven't got hearts
Someone named us when we were born,
since then we have been nothing but scorned
We stand up tall, but inside we are cryin’
We're not the Tulip or the Rose,
We are the Dandelion
