Our People

What you see in him is a man living without a cause
What he sees in you is a man judging that isn't god
You see destruction disperse with ignorance
All we see is a people taking what they need to live
Just because we populate the ghetto doesn't mean we made it
And just because we WANT out doesn't mean we will make it
Equal opportunity is handed to only some...
And those who don't have that opportunity are considered dumb

The media only shows our destruction never our progress
You'll see our once proud people in distress
But all you need is to Gain a little knowledge
Because less men of color are in jail And More are in college
But this you will never see
If your only source is a TV
As people we are rising slowly
Its to late to help so stand by proudly
Our past is history and our future is a gurentee
That our old struggle is over and victory is closer then it seems
