Our Own Demise
In a world that is at war, where people are making
new weapons for even new war, who makes
the guns and bullets for the military? It's the
people who make them, and they don't even worry.
Who teaches the soldiers how to fight? Who teaches
people how to bomb other people into hell's morning light?
It's the people themselves who are causing their own
destruction and following each other in the wrong direction.
Who supports the governments, right or wrong?
Who allows the wars to keep going on and on?
It's we, the people, as far the eye can see, in
every town, city and country.
It's the people who work everyday, who live in
daily poverty and have nothing to say, who are
the people who are in pain, who call for action and get
more crime and game.
We, the people, have set these things that hurt
us in motion. It goes aboard in boats and across
the oceans. It's the people who put up with the lies.
It's the people who are causing their own demise.
How can we complain about all that is going on,
how can you say something is wrong, when we vote
for presidents and keep dictators in who do the same
thing over and over again? It is us who are living a lie;
we will be the guilty parties as time goes by. They rule us
because we make it so, and don't know why. . A truth that
is not hidden but all see by the naked eye.
