What a beautiful vision Valsa, your comment made a beautiful painting in my heart :) My sister's best friend from childhood put a post up in 2008 or 2009 with that beautiful concept and wrote a free verse about there being only a veil between us to see into heaven, but not between them and us. She had added a firework display with the light reaching down to earth. She reposted that after my sister died, and it brought me so much comfort, as does your precious comment here. Be blessed sweet friend. <3

There are so many Andrea, including my beautiful and much-loved sister, as well as the precious poets who have gone beyond, our sweet Connie, Rico, and his always joyful signature of Aloha!, and the amazing Milton, a seriously wise and amazing poet, teacher, pastor, very much recognized and highly respected. So much sadness, but so much joy they have left for us to ponder and to celebrate. They will all long live on in our memories, and in our hearts.

Your memories of your precious wife are ever so edifying of your love for her Victor. I have felt I have met her, seen her pretty china and the things you spoke of in your poems about her. She lives on through your memories, and in the gift to us to know her just a little bit too. <3

That's so interesting, it seems like that would be true. When we remember and even speak of them to our children, they too will remember them so much more clearly, even if the departure of the loved one occurred while the child was very young. Thank you for this precious bit of information, it helps to ponder such a positive idea. My grown children still remember their grandpa who died when they were very young, so I can see how that can be. They still celebrate his birthday; he was very loved. He passed over thirty years ago but is kept alive in their hearts and memories. Thank you Gershon
