Our Love Is the Key

I can't break free
 I'm disempowered by the kryptonite
You can't blame me
circumstances led me where i never wanted to go
And I do agree
that some choices weren't the brightest at the time
But I need you to see
there was never anything but love in my actions
I want to let it be
let it be known that I want this war over
Back to to where you and I was "we"
stop being separated by the battle lines
Sometimes I want to flee
the pain just hurts too much to bear
But I see with clarity
that can never be the answer anyway
And it's not just charity
there is no future for me but with you
Please hear my plea
just listen to the words I'm trying to say
I'm down on bended knee
my back breaking with the weight of this war
And like an old willow tree
the storm is tearing me apart
I'm hoping that maybe
you will understand what I'm trying to say
I know it won't be easy
things won't change overnight you know
Our love is the key
we have too much to lose if this goes on
So this is my decree
I will try better to understand you
And I know ti sounds twee
But I just need you to listen to me
Because I need to break free
I hope that you can agree
     One and one makes "we"
       It won't be easy
our love was always the key.

No matter how much you love someone, you will have times of struggle. true love gets you past that and you reach another level together.
