Our Love is….
Our love is the bloom of a red red rose
tenderly nurtured it strengthens and grows,
sharing together our joys and our sorrows
this Valentine’s day and for all our tomorrows.
Our love is the scent of the new morning rain,
refreshing our souls again and again,
like the bubbly sparkle of old vintage wine,
it sweetens with age and mellows with time.
Our love is taking a walk in the park,
a new adventure for when we embark,
should we face struggles that wait round the bend,
our love is the hero on which we depend.
Our love sings the words to a beautiful song,
an enchanting melody playing on and on,
it is unconditional, caring and kind,
unwritten poetry soothing your mind.
Our love is a strong wave crashing to shore
it can move mountains and do so much more
caught under a rainbow which never departs
uniting two bodies, two souls and two hearts
Our love is the bloom of a red, red rose….
