Unseeking Seeker
Our Last Thought 
Poetry Contest

One last final thought before
i depart

God help me

I never in life believed in you

But please forgive me

Let me in

And please look after me

For i did not know what i did

And promise i will abode in
future

Have learned my lesson 

And will leave and forego all
of my selfish ways if you are
willing to let me

Whilst simultaneously firmly 
pressed fingers crossed
behind me just incase

To hedge my bets

You are not willing to accept me

And i am left stuck in purgatory

With the lift in need of 
repair and out of order and 
the stairwell is firmly locked
shut chained up

So i can't go up or go down either
way

And that's my final thought
