Our Journey
How did you know for this place I was bound
did you know how I longed to be found
are you here to hide me inside,in a place safe and warm
sheltering me from the rage of this storm
was it destiny for our paths to be crossed,
two hearts broken forgotten abandoned and lost,
are we here seeking something we hold within
seeking the courage, to love once again
were we brought here seeking our long journeys end
searching for the strength and finding a friend
knowing only time can cause our hearts to heal and mend
still choosing to close our eyes and pretend
as we can both plainly see i came here seeking you
and you came to this place seeking me
we came to find a lover, then finding each other
rekindling our hope in this place our journey together might begin
longing for a lover and becoming a friend
never found in all the lonely places we've been
searching for a reason to live our dreams from the start,
seeking our destiny, already written,
longing desires that tore us apart
within the love now shared inside each others heart
were we brought here for lace and leather
and in this place have we found,
our journey has just begun,
forever more, two hearts will be bound together as one
hope in this place our journey together might begin
longing for a lover and becoming a friend
we've never found in all the lonely places we've already been
have we traveled here reaching for hope,
to find a reason to live our dreams from the start,
understanding our destiny lies
within the love now shared in each others heart
were we brought here together,
in this place have we found,
our journey has only just begun,
forever more, two hearts will be bound to become one
