Our Hope

What none could see you found in me
Beneath the dark a quiet glow
Lit by your love, held by your heart
Always it burns for never we part
the fear and pain from their blind light
washed away in our dark flames
my years of numb unconscious life
shattered by your gentle embrace

wounds are healed to scars and scars are kissed away
till love is all we hold with hope for each new day
