Our Heart Tore In Two

OUR HEART TORE IN TWO

     Together we hold a red paper heart,
     Our hands so close in warm proximity.

We grin from ear to crimson blush, Sweetheart.
Our palms touch ~ steam with equanimity,

     We are meant to be ~ you’re my counterpart.
     Yes ~ bestowed with God’s magnanimity.
   
Our heart tore in two ~ one for me and you.
Our warmth spreads ~ we cuddle -  she’s pink...he’s blue.

Reminds me of those necklaces and rings that come in twos. Each one containing half a heart. You give the other half to that special someone. Nice write, Mrs Kim.
