Some years ago, on Halloween, Surprised, as we came on the scene; Our grand-kitty, cute- In a devil suit- Did look a bit angry and mean! The kids put him in this costume; He seemed okay, but showing gloom. Annoyance on face- We gave him some space Left him on the carpet to fume! With glare in his staring green eyes He let us enjoy our surprise! Stayed still, played the part- God bless his sweet heart! Let Halloween fun be our prize!
