Our Future

our future
our future is on sale
our dreams are full
of troubles
our struggling keep
increasing
our hopes keep
depreciating
cos all we see don't
improve our faith
with this leaders
of hopelessness
in Nigeria
where is the man
of the people
were are the brave
cos with what
the time says now
in Africa
we are in a deep trap

our future
we do believe in God
yet heaven help those
who help themselves
we need a miracle
yet we are blind folded
by the oracles of lies
whose Interest never
better our tomorrow
despite they always
are in charge of our
change
no wonder our
situation are hard
to change

our future
our economy are
in the hands of criminals
yes they are legal
criminals
no wonder we keep falling
to the pit of poverty
our life never change
but reforms to more
starvation and scarcity
of opportunities
we keep fighting
we keep enduring
yet the road sims far

our future
our future is played on
our life is a game
so sad we are not
among the players
we are only but the victims
of the brutalized hard life
created to keep us in
an everlasting captive
this was before I was born
and now
I can see clearly it will
never stop
if we the innocent victims
don't apply force
until then darkness
is all I see in
our future
