Our First Love

We were on fire
As flames grew higher
Vowels in choir
Two teens taking flight
Where virgin wings sprite
Upward to the moon
Twinkle lil stars boon
Fog on windows strewn

Dad's car shifted gears
In neutral she steers
His Chevy's best years
Lover's Lane at will
Rocking the night's drill
Backseat was the thrill
Joyriding the night
Under the moonlight

Think--of two teens making love in Dad's car (his Chevy's best years, the cars moving and shifting yet the cars in neutral and park). ... upward to the moon twinkle lil stars boon---who do you think are the lil stars? The first stanza fly to the moon. The second stanza trip is completed, basking under the moonlight. I need to take a break.
