Notes About The Poem

Ten lines from Ten poems

Our Day Together

Up and down the shopping aisles I go
I the poet and you the mathematician
I have a costume called Truth
It takes the enemy and turns it to brother.
Trauma can throw its blunt ugly force
but hold your nose over the next hill.
Can you love with your heart and hands?
It's okay to vent your fears
Now to find the right words to share
I am pretty sure I need you too.

Very interesting what you came up with. It kind of shows the topic we revel in when we do these kinds of contests

A splendid poem made of lines from former poems. You did well. Happy New Year.

Thanks! I had a harsher judgement against my self vs your positive words of "splendid."
