OUR CLIMATE HAS CHANGED FOR EVER

When I was a child
I thought like a child
Now that im a full bloomed adult
My thinking must change

I grew up thinking
That early rains will
Start falling in February
And there will be a break
Sometime in August

But now the story is different
Our rains this year
Started early
In the month of May
Year 2024
And the rains took a break
Later in the month of July
Year 2024

When I asked the old weatherman
What could be responsible
For this sudden change
He just smiled
and looked at me sorrowfully
what he said next
sent shock waves down my spine
he said son
our climate has changed for ever
