Our Angel

We've had an angel in our midst
For the past twelve years or so
She's blessed us with her cheerful ways--
Soon it's time for her to go.

We have an angel in our midst
She brightens us with her glow.
We have an angel in our midst;
We're afraid she wants to go.

We know this angel; we call her Mom;
She arrived twelve years ago.
Our mother left--the angel came.
Now the angel wants to go.

We love you Mom--we care for you
Now we want you to know
If your time with us down here is donem
We are willing to let you go.

Thanks. She's been gone five years, but she is with me every day.
